We make a loose-fitting one-piece zip-up sleep & play size for newborns to 6-9 months (these items also do NOT contain flame retardants). Snug-fitting Sleepers in sizes 12 -24 Months (and smaller in Family Jammies) and a snug-fit two-piece PJ from sizes 12 months to 12 years.  

The regulation that notes PJs without flame retardants need to be snug fitting starts at size 12 months so the loose-fitting sleep & plays are able to be loose fitting and NOT have flame retardant as they are under 9 months and younger.   The link to the CPSC's Children’s Sleepwear Regulations is below.
