How do I make a return?Updated 4 months ago

Product Return

We’ve partnered with Happy Returns to make returns simple and free*

1.  To initiate your return, click HERE below. 

2.  Enter your order number and zip code. 

3. Select any convenient Return Bar location for drop off. No packaging or label is required.

*Free Returns only apply to those that are dropped off.

Please note we do not process exchanges and original shipping costs will not be refunded.

Refund process

Upon receiving the returned item, we will inspect it to ensure it meets our return policy criteria. If the return is approved, a refund will be processed to the original payment method. 

Since all returns will be refunded to their original payment method. If you purchased with a Visa/Mastercard/AMEX  gift card, do not discard it until you have received (and enjoyed) your products. If you complete your purchase using AfterPay, AfterPay will be notified of your return request and process the appropriate refund amount. 

Please ensure to keep a copy of your receipt for items dropped off or items shipped until your refund is processed.  


Non-Returnable items

Certain items may not be eligible for return due to hygiene, final sale, or other reasons. These items will be marked on the product page.

Eligible items

Items considered eligible must be unwashed, unworn, free from debris including pet hair, and have original tags or packaging. The entire set must be returned if you purchased a product as part of a set. Items marked Final Sale, The Baby Bee Box, Baby Bee Bags, and gift cards cannot be returned. Underwear may be returned if all items are unworn and in the original packaging. Your return will expire two (2) weeks from the issue date, please return back promptly as we cannot reauthorize expired returns. Any items received that do not meet the conditions, do not have prior authorization, or are outside of the timeframe will not be refunded, credited, or returned. 


Damage or Defective Items 

We are committed to upholding the excellence of our product. If you find a quality concern with an item, contact us by using the  REPORT QUALITY button above.  For an item with a quality issue, we will gladly offer you a merchandise credit for the purchase price or provide a replacement of the same style and size. In this context, quality pertains to any defects concerning the fabric, construction (including zipper, snaps or buttons), or product trim.

Retailer Purchase returns 

We do not accept returns for items not purchased on burtsbeesbaby.com. If you purchased a Burt's Bees Baby product from anywhere other than burtsbeesbaby.com, please reference the return policy of the company you purchased it from.
